Our Editorial Policy
FinanceGuide Pro exists to help readers in the US and UK make smarter decisions with their money. Here’s how we work.
How we research
Every article starts with primary sources: official bank and card issuer websites, government resources (IRS, HMRC, CFPB, FCA), and current published rates. We verify figures at the time of writing and update articles when rates or rules change materially. Every article displays its publication date so you always know how current the information is.
How we choose what to cover
We cover the topics our readers actually search for — building credit, comparing savings accounts, understanding retirement accounts, protecting your money — not whatever pays the most. If a product appears in our comparisons, it’s because it’s relevant to the reader, not because of any commercial relationship.
Affiliate disclosure
Some articles may contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you open an account or purchase a product through our link, at no extra cost to you. This never affects our rankings, comparisons, or opinions.
Not financial advice
Our content is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not personalized financial advice. Everyone’s situation is different — always consider your own circumstances and consult a qualified financial adviser before making significant financial decisions.
Corrections
We take accuracy seriously. If you spot an error in any of our articles, email us at contact@financeguidepro.com and we’ll review and correct it promptly.
